Magnus Carlsen receives Chess Oscar!

Hi everyone,
It had already been announced that the World No. 1 chess player on the planet Magnus Carlsen had been picked for the Chess Oscar 2010. The Chess Oscar is awarded after voting by journalists. The award was handed over to the talented grandmaster at the opening ceremony of the Botvinnik Chess Memorial currently on in Moscow.
Carlsen, in his acceptance speech, said, “I am happy to have won the Chess Oscar, especially in an year where there was a World Championship."
