Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2011

Hello everyone,

Here is the complete chess news report and special video report on Kasparov addressing European Parliament to introduce chess in schools.

On Tuesday chess legend Garry Kasparov, together with European Chess Union President Silvio Danailov, presented at the European Parliament the program ‘Chess in European Schools’. The program is designed to promote chess in schools throughout Europe by offering chess curriculums, chess materials, chess teachers and communication material to encourage and motivate children to discover and learn the game. ChessVibes was in Brussels to capture the day on photo and video.

Also supporting them was world's highest rated woman chess player Judit Polgar. Here is the video and you can read the full report in English at www.chessvibes.com.

This guy is too much. Gosh. How much hard work he does all over the place and in all kinds of fields. Mind boggling. And then even goes and beats Vachier-Lagrave. I doubt if another brain like Kasparov's exists.
