Chess television channel in Russia soon?

Hi everyone,


The latest chess update from www.chess-news.ru is that soon there is going be a television channel on chess in Russia!


This month, the Russian Federal Service of Communications, Mass Communications and Cultural Heritage will issue a registration certificate and license to broadcast television channel, "Chess" . Start of regular broadcasting - November 1, 2011. The channel is created with the assistance of the Russian Chess Federation and FIDE. The main objective channel - coverage of chess life in Russia and abroad.


It seems to be a news via Wikipedia so we await further updates.
