Split Chess Open in Croatia: Three way tie after four rounds

Hello everyone,

The 1st Split Open is taking place from August 5-13 in the coastal city of Split, Croatia. The latest chess news is that 120 players are taking part in the the 9-round Swiss tournament. The prize fund is 7360 EUR, with 1500 EUR for the winner.

After four rounds of play, Grandmasters Ognjen Cvitan, Ibro Saric, Marin Bosiocic and IM Darko Doric are leading the standings with perfect score. More information on the official website.
