Hello everyone,Serbian Grandmaster Dragan Solak and Poland's reigning chess champion Mateusz Bartel shared the first place with 7 points at one of Greece's strongest chess events recently. GM Solak was declared winner on better tiebreak score.
The 20th Kavala Open Chess Tournament took place from July 30 to August 6. The Kavala Chess Club is host to one of the strongest chess events in the country along with Club, East Macedonia and Thrace Chess Union and Greek Chess Federation.
The main Open A had 109 players from 18 countries, with 28 Grandmasters and 13 International Masters in the field. You can also check details at this link.

3-9.
