GM Ghaem Maghami wins Avicenna International Chess Open

Hello everyone,
The latest chess news from Iran is that Grandmaster Ehsan Ghaem Maghami has won the 10th Avicenna International Chess Open 2011. He was in a field of 357 players in an 11-round Swiss event. He is the nine-time national champion of Iran and was the top seed in the tournament. In second place, a full point behind, was IM Logman Guliev.
