Here is the latest chess news about the World Team Chess Championship 2011 that is all set to begin this week. We have a very nice preview of the event from www.chessdom.com.
The event will be held in Ningbo China from July 15-27 and includes teams from China, Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Hungary, Azerbaijan, India, USA, Egypt and Armenia. You can watch the daily broadcast of games at this link and video reports at www.chessdom.com.
Each team comprises four main players for the boards and one reserve player apart from a coach or non-playing captain. The July Fide rating list will be used and some top players at the event would include Karjakin, Sasikiran, Negi, Radjabov, Ivanchuk etc. You can read further at this link.
