In Round 6 Russia drew with Ukraine (all four boards drawn), Israel and Azerbaijan also drew with wins by Radjabov and Postny, USA also drew with Hungary (Zoltan beating Shulman and Seirawan beating Judit Polgar), Egypt lost to China and Armenia beat India. The standings after Round 6 are as follows:
