Hi everyone,
Here is more chess news from China - Not only are they hosting the World Team Chess Championship 2011 but a nice women's chess tournament - the first Hangzhou Women Grandmaster Chess Tournament from July 13-24. Ten top women chess players will compete in the round-robin event that will run alongside the team event. The line-up of the participants include: Hou Yifan, Nadezhda Kosintseva, Tatiana Kosintseva, Nana Dzagnidze, Anna Zatonskih, Ju Wenjun, Dronavalli Harika, Marie Sebag, Zhu Chen and Zhao Xue. No wonder the Kosintseva sisters are not playing in the Russian superfinal guess they playing here. I see a final top slot fight between Hou Yifan and Harika. Harika has evolved quite a bit and I see her right up there next to Humpy.
