Simple chess puzzle: Can you beat Anand?
Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2011
Hi everyone,
Here's a position from a game that World Chess Champion played in a simul. It is common for players to end up making some moves automatically in a simul game. Something they would never do in a regular game. Nevertheless, in the position below, Anand played the disastrous Rce1. If you were Black, how would you win? After your thinking time, just run the flashplayer to check your answer. Enjoy.
Anand Viswanathan (2817)-Petr Boleslav (2127), 0-1
Simul, Prague, 2011
