Magnus Carlsen and Sergey Karjakin have won their games in the fifth round of the Kings’ Tournament in Medias, Romania. Carlsen beat Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu while Karjakin beat Vassily Ivanchuk. Teimour Radjabov and Hikaru Nakamura drew their game.

Magnus Carlsen and Sergey Karjakin have won their games in the fifth round of the Kings’ Tournament in Medias, Romania. Carlsen beat Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu while Karjakin beat Vassily Ivanchuk. Teimour Radjabov and Hikaru Nakamura drew their game.
With this Carlsen leads with 3.5 points, Karjakin has 3 points, Nakamura has 2.5 and the trio Ivanchuk, Radjabov and Nisipeanu have 2 points each. We have a rest day as five rounds have been completed.
