Chess trivia weekend question: Who is this famous chess teacher?
Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2011
Hello everyone,
Hello everyone,
Guess who this chess tutor is?
He just visited the Eighth Avenue HQ as part of the Chess-in-the-Schools, a nonprofit organisation in the US, working to improve academic performance and self-esteem. HINT: He is well-known and is chess tutor to a well-know woman chess player! As a bonus question you can try and name the woman chess player too. ;)
You've got till Monday to figure it out when we would post the answer in the comments. Happy chess-y searching.

Ok, since no one else will answer. That is Kevin Kline. He plays Dr Kroger in the movie 'Queen to Play'. His student is 'Helene' played by Sandrine Bonnaire she is a chambermaid in a hotel in Corsica. She takes up the game after watching a couple at the hotel play.
