Hi everyone,
The seventh round at the AAI GM Chess Tournament in New Delhi, India saw some exciting chess like the previous rounds. While Wesley So beat Viktor Laznicka, Hou Yifan beat Parimarjan Negi. The third game - between Krishnan Sasikiran and Fabiano Caruana - was one see saw battle. Sasikiran said at the press conference, "I was worse in the opening but then had a chance. But in the end I suppose I made some mistake, I don't know. I thought I was winning for a while."
The standings after seven rounds are as follows:
