Vietnamese player WGM Hoang Thi Bao Tram pulled out one of the best results of her career by winning the Asian Women's Individual Blitz Chess Championship held in Iran recently. She notched up six wins, two draws and one loss to take her tally to 7 points. Krishnan Sasikiran of India won the title for men with six wins, two draws and one loss.

In the women's section WGM Zhongyi Tan of China and GM Hou Yifan were second and third respectively on the basis of tiebreak points. Indian IM Harika Dronavalli was third.
In the men's section GM Wesley So was second and GM Bu Xiangzhi was third on tie break. Untitled Shanglei Lu was fourth while Yangyi Yu was fifth. You can access more details at the official website.
