Remember where was the classic Superman movie shot? In Calgary of course - so many years ago. But this year you have another reason to visit Calgary - the 2011 Calgary International Chess Classic.
The fourth edition of the tournament will be held from May 19-23. You can even pick up a norm too.
Calgary International Reserve Championship
The Calgary International Reserves will take place along side of the Calgary International from May 21-23. The Calgary International Chess Classic will feature a number of side events. There will be 5 Active Chess fundraiser events taking place from early March through mid May. Also there will be the Calgary International Blitz Championship. A lecture and simul will also be held.
