Russian Team Chess Championships: Tomsk-400 leads in men's section
Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2011
Hi everyone,
The Russian Team League Championships are interestingly poised. After six rounds, in the men's section, we have Tomsk-400 leading with 12 match points followed closely by SHSM-64 at 11 and Ugra at 10 match points.
Monday is a rest day for the men's section. In the women's section, we have three teams - the SHSM-RSCU, Giprorechtrans and Rook leading with 4 match points each. Following them are Ugra and ABC with 2 match points each. You can see the interesting Round 3 line-up in the women's section here. Chess Queen GM Alexandra Kosteniuk takes on IM Alisa Galliamova on board one for SHSM-RSCU against team Rook. The scoring pattern of the championship is 2 points for a win, one for a draw and none for a lost. You can access all the results here. For now some photos by Maria Bolshakova from the official website. The link for the online broadcast of games is here.
