Some more updates from the Russian Team Chess Championships: After eight rounds in the open section, Tomsk-400 and SHSM-64 are tied with 15 points each for the lead after eight rounds. SHSM-64 was trailing by just half a point and it did well to catch up in the eighth round. Even though GM Anish Giri lost to IM Dmitrij Sitnikov, SHSM-64 won all their other games.
In the women's section, after four rounds we have Giprorechtrans leading with 11.5 points with SHSM-RSCU just half a point behind.
