Hi everyone,
Here is an announcement. Applications are now being accepted for the 2011 Navy Chess Team.
Current active duty personnel serving in the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard or Public Health Service may apply as long as they have command authorisation. Applicants must also be members in good standing in the U.S. Chess Federation and have established a federation rating.
Deadline is March 31.
Applications are accepted via e-mail at navy.chess.fct@navy.mil, via fax at 202-433-0936 or via mail by sending an application to Commander Navy Installations Command, Fleet and Family Readiness N923, Attn: Navy Chess Team, 716 Sicard St. SE, Suite 1000, Washington Navy Yard D.C. 20374-5140.
Those who are selected to take part in the All-Navy Chess Qualifier April 29 through May 1 in Mississippi, will be informed no later than April 15.
