Chess news and chess trivia blog (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2011
Hi Everyone,
Vugar Gashimov and Francisco Vallejo Pons drew their games in the final round to jointly win the 53rd Torneo de Capodanno in Reggio Emilia, Italy. The winner's trophy went to Gashimov because of better tie-break.
Also, are you sure how to checkmate with bishop and knight? You can learn it from Vassily Ivanchuk in his game from Morozevich that we have here.
