Have you checked www.chesspics.com for great photos of Hou Yifan?
Hello Everyone,
This is a tale of a knight-bishop manoeuvring and a frozen Rook that ended in Hou Yifan winning the second game of the final at the Women's World Chess Championship 2010 being held in Hatay, Turkey.
Lufei had drawn yesterday's first game in a highly complicated manner but could not repeat the feat today. Yifan now leads 1.5-0.5 in the four-game final.
Here is the interesting game that you can check out in our flashplayer below or run the moves through our pgnplayer.

Well done Hou !!
ReplyDeleteI hope she wins the title now that Chees Queen is out ..
Guess Hou was wary in the first game but she found her rhythm in the second. Hou it is. She can just hold on to her advantage. I personally found Ruan's game extremely weak at this level. It was sheer bad luck that Chess Queen had to be knocked out because of her.
