Hello Everyday,
It was tough chess on the second day at the World Blitz Chess Championship. After the end of the 28 rounds (14 of which were played yesterday) it was Levon Aronian leading with 18.5 points. Closely following him is Magnus Carlsen at 17.0 points.
Ten rounds will be played tomorrow in Moscow to decide the World Blitz Chess Champion.

ReplyDeleteNakamura's flameout was shocker, especially given his stated confidence going in to this. It will be interesting to see how he regroups after this.

The game Nakamura-Kramnik was quite entertaining...full of threats...full of action...some mistakes maybe(when Naka, maybe overconfident, doesn't see Ne3+)
