Alexandra Kosteniuk 2010 Cup for Kids U-6, U-8, U-10


We invite you to the Kosteniuk Chess Cup 2010!

Dear all!

As you may know, each year I organize a tournament for kids, with many prizes and no entry fee, so I am glad to let you know that this year it will take place again!

On November 27 and 28, 2010 in the city Yantarny, Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia, the 4th Cup of Alexandra Kosteniuk for kids under 6, under 8 and under 10 years old will take place.

The full regulations can be read here in RUSSIAN, ENGLISH, DEUTSCH, POLISH, or LITHUANIAN.


Дорогие друзья!

Рада пригласить самых юных любителей шахмат принять участие в 4-м Кубке Александры Костенюк, который пройдет 27 и 28 ноября 2010 среди детей до 6 и до 8 лет, а также, впервые, среди детей до 10 лет в поселке Янтарный, Калининградской области.

Турниры на кубок 12-й чемпионки мира по шахматам Александры Костенюк проходят ежегодно, начиная с 2007 года. Особенность этих турниров в том, что соревнования проходят в течение двух дней, юные участники не платят турнирные взносы и каждый шахматист уезжает домой с памятными призами.

    We are organizing the big chess tournament in November

    The tournament is a 3 day event Friday , Saturday and Sunday . Many strong GMs were our guests , Spassky , Damljanovic , Hebden , M Adams , Luke McShane , Baburin etc .
    I would like to invite you on that tournament to be our guest ,
    I am junior officer in Irish chess Union and owner of the chess school in Kilkeny Ireland www.chessschoolpolimac.com
    We are ready to pay all expenses flights and accommodation . I was thinking that you could if you would like to coach our best juniors with some simultaneous play which can give you an extra 300 - 400 euros .
    Kilkenny is one of the most beautiful cities in Ireland
    I hope that you will have some time for this tournaments

    Hi Chess Polimac,
    As you can see, your tournament dates are the same as the one I am organizing (info on this page), which means that even if I wanted to come and visit your tournament I could not.
