Hi Everybody,
The third round saw interesting games at the Shanghai Chess Masters Grand Slam Chess Tournament on Sunday. While Levon Aronian and Vladimir Kramnik drew their games, while Alexei Shirov beat Wang Hao.
The two top players from this Shanghai Grand Slam Final Masters will qualify to play in Bilbao along with Magnus Carlsen and Viswanathan Anand from October 9-15, 2010.
Round 3 results:
1. Shirov-Wang Hao 1-0
2. Kramnik-Aronian 1/2-1/2
Standings after 3 rounds:
1. Aronian, Shirov 2.5
2. Kramnik 1.5
3. Wang Hao 0.5
The scoring pattern is based on two points for a win and one point for a draw.
