Zalakaros Chess Festival 2010 concludes

Hello Everyone,

The Zalakaros Chess Festival 2010 chess festival concluded a few days back. IM Tamas Horvath organizes the event in the spa town (that gives the festival its name) in the Balaton lake region of Hungary. Nine GMs, 22 IMs and 19 FMs, WGMs and WIMs took part in the event.

WIM Veronika Schneider (HUN, 2339) won the best woman player prize with 5/9 while the tournament was won by FM T. Fodor Jr. - a surprise winner among all those GMs!
