Retro chess set for collectors and players!
Hi Everybody,
Do you like collecting different theme chess sets? If yes, then here's another one for you. Based on modernist design trends, this is the ultimate Naef Bauhaus Chess Set designed by Josef Hartwig.
Hartwig designed it way back in 1923 using geometrical shapes typical of his style. You can check out this chess set here.
Each piece in this chess set is supposed to reflect the type of move it makes. Heinz Nosselt designed a chess table to go with this set while Joost Schmidt designed the accompanying promotional leaflet and posters.
