Inspiring return: GM Matthew Sadler
Hi Everybody!
The most beautiful thing about chess is that once it fills your life, it never deserts you. Even if you retire! And, you can always make a comeback.
For now, at least that's true for Grandmaster Matthew Sadler who didn't play a tournament for 11 years but returned to tournament chess in Haarlem, The Netherlands. He won the weekend tournament. Sadler is a former British Chess Champion and an Olympiad gold medalist.
