Chess simul with Judit Polgar on July 2 in Marrakech
This one is for fans of the highest-rated woman chess player in the world - Judit Polgar. Juditwill play a simul on 20 boards on July 2 on the concluding day of the first-ever Marrakech International Chess Tournament. The tournament takes place from June 25 to July 2.
Players from 23 countries have registered for the tournament. These include 37 Grandmasters including Hungarian GM Judit Polgar.
The tournament will include nine rounds according to the Swiss system with time control of 75 minutes per player. The prizes are of €4,000 and trophy for the winner, second place € 3,000, third place € 2,000 and so on, down to a prize of €200 for the person in 10th place. In addition, € 1,500 is for special prizes for locals, women and seniors.
