Cheparinov wins Ruy Lopez International Chess Festival 2010

Hello Everyone!

Defending champion Bulgarian Grandmaster Ivan Cheparinov has won the Ruy Lopez International Chess Festival 2010 that took place from June 11-19 in Villafranca de los Barros in Spain.

Cheparinov, known for assisting former FIDE World Champion Veselin Topalov, won five games and drew two to tally 6/7 points with a 2904 performance.
